Patrick (Pat) Cahill, June 2, 2025
CAHILL (Gullane, Clonakilty, Co. Cork and formerly of Gortdarrig, Headford, Co. Kerry): on June 2nd 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Clonakilty Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. Patrick (Pat) (late Department of Agriculture and former president of Clonakilty G.A.A. Club) beloved husband of the recently deceased Ella (nee Magner), dearly loved father of Diarmuid, Brid and Mairead. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Sean O'Flynn, grandchildren Sean Og and Aoibhinn, brothers John Joe, Willie and Fr. Daniel, sister Brid (Stapleton), brothers-in-law Joe and Maurice, sisters-in-law Eileen, Briege, Maria and Anne, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025, from 7pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Darrara. Funeral afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Saturday, June 14, Annual Bloomsday Celebration, Mount Holly, NJ
The Burlington County St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee is hosting its Annual Bloomsday Celebration on Saturday, June 14, at the Lyceum in Mount Holly starting at 2 P.M. The Consulate General of Ireland is expected to attend. Bloomsday is an Irish celebration of the famous James Joyce Book "Ulysses" which follows a single day in the life of Leo Bloom as he makes his way through Dublin. We will have readings from the book, short films from the International Bloomsday Film Festival and more. Bob Hurst from the Bogside Rogues will be singing some rare Irish songs from the book. Admission is free. Please join us!

Cape May County will be hosting the NJ LAOH State Board meeting at the Knights of Columbus, 206 N. New York Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260. We will be continuing our "Tricky Tray," please bring a gift valued between $10- $15 to be raffled off. Please send your reports to LAOH State President Jake Kenna by October 19, 2025.
